There is an increasing number of people all over the world who suffer from pollen allergy and seasonal allergy from year to year. But, we have got help in form of a couple of natural local or general allergy treatments with herbs, homeopathic remedies, fruits and vegetables.
If you are not allergic to herbs, your irritated allergy eye will find
this herbal eyewash very soothing:
Pour
250ml boiling water over the herbs. Cover, and steep for a
quarter of
an hour. Strain through a coffee filter to remove all herb particles.
Use as an eyewash or soak cotton balls in the herbal tea and apply to
your eyes at least three times a day for ten minutes.
Caution: Make
sure
you are not allergic to any ingredient herbs!
If you do not
have the time to make the herbal tea, put just a wet camomile teabag on
your eyes.
Nasal Irrigation and Neti Pot
Saline nasal irrigation is extremely useful to cure a sinusitis or
common cold as well as to bring relief to the symptoms of nasal allergy
or hay fever. Nasal wash loosens the mucus and reduces swelling.
